Aweber - This is a good (less expensive) alternative to Goldbar but it is only an auto-responder/ e-zine package. It does integrate very well with payment gateways such as PayPal so it can be used to replicate shopping carts and membership sites to some extent. Aweber integrates really well with WordPress blogs and boasts high email delivery rates.

Market and Keyword Research

Keyword Elite and SEO Elite - Very powerful tools that can help you build huge list of profitable keywords. Also handy content finder and misspelled keyword tool. It is however slow and on the expensive side.

Or Traffic Travis - cheap alternative to Keyword Elite and SEO Elite - I am starting to like it more and more.

Keyword Spy - The ultimate for analysing your competitors on the large PPC networks. This tool is essential if you want to dominate any particular niche, but a bit pricy if you are just playing with the idea of paid traffic.

Domain Names and Hosting

1and1 or GoDaddy - Do Not host your website with these providers! They are more expensive and autocratic when it comes to your internet content hosted with them. Use Hostgator or eUKHost for hosting.

Hostgator - some of the cheapest hosting around and superb control over your server and online files through their CPanel.

eUKHost - for inexpensive UK hosting with exactly the same advantages as Hostgator we recommend eUKHost
